During his 20 years in the financial planning business, Jeff Bingham has had the opportunity to learn and practice financial planning with the guidance of experienced financial planners. In 1998, Jeff received the prestigious Dalbar Professional Seal. Dalbar awards this seal to financial professionals who have exceeded national benchmarks in the areas of trust, client satisfaction, quality of advice and financial results.
Jeff Bingham began his career in 1989 at Bingham & Hensley when he came to work for his Dad, Bob Bingham and business partner, Norman Hensley. Today, 20 years later, Jeff is the President of Bingham & Hensley. Jeff specializes in working with retirees and addressing their special needs such as effective income distribution strategies and innovative estate planning strategies. Besides the daily office investment advisory business, Jeff is also a frequent seminar leader and lecturer hosting seminars in the Tri-Cities area and beyond. Jeff is also a columnist for the Kingsport Times-News, and every Thursday morning at 9:00 AM you can hear him on the Tom Taylor Radio Show at 870 WPWT on your a.m. dial. Jeff is a graduate of the Executive Education Program at Wharton School of Business. Jeff has received many awards for his efforts in finanial planning but is most proud of the Dalbar Seal which he received for being recognized as one of America's most trusted advisors.
Jeff Bingham is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative of NFP Securities, Inc. licensed to sell securities in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. He is licensed to sell insurance products in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Jeff has memberships in both local and National Chapter of the National Association of Life Underwriters. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. Jeff's attendance at both local and national workshops in the areas of Retirement, Estate, and Tax Planning are evidence of his commitment to professional excellence.
Jeff and his wife Jennifer have 3 children, Jake, Jessica, and Julianna. Jeff and Jennifer are both Kingsport natives. Jeff's dad, Bob, is founder of Bingham & Hensley, and Jennifer's Dad, Dave Berry, owns Berry's Pharmacy. Jeff's mom, Ann, is a Dobyns-Bennett graduate as are his 2 brothers, John Bingham, a prominent attorney in Kingsport and Bobby, a highly recognized teacher and coach at Dobyns-Bennett High School Jeff is an avid golfer carrying a zero handicap.
So with busy office hours, frequent seminars, newspaper columns, radio shows, and three children, you can see that Jeff is an extremely active person enjoying every minute of his career and family.

Assistant to Jeff Bingham & Marketing—Cathy joined the company in June, 1998. She enjoys working with clients as well as meeting new people. She came to Bingham & Hensley from Northeast State Community College where she was employed as the Student Loan Officer. She has been part of the financial arena for many years. She is a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and holds a BS Degree from Tusculum College. Catherine and her husband Charles have four children, Tim, Darla, Tiffany and Charlton. They also have four grandsons, Max, Crew, Jack, and Ben. Cathy is securites and insurance licensed and works closely with Jeff Bingham. She is a member of the Noonday Civitan Club. She enjoys water gardening and working with small children.

Nancy Stallard
Senior Associate -- which does not mean she is the oldest associate-- it means she has been with Bingham & Hensley the longest amount of time. Nancy has been in the financial area since 1991. She came to Bingham & Hensley in 1996, prior to that she worked with a financial planning firm in Johnson City, TN. Customer Service is not dead -- just ask Nancy, she is living proof. She believes in going the "extra mile" and lives by the "Golden Rule." Nancy is a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School in Wise, VA and attended the University of Viirginia at Wise. Nancy has lived in Upper East Tennessee since 1987 and now lives in Kingsport, TN and is a huge Lady Vols fan! Her son Cody is very active in sports and Nancy has been very active in the community just keeping up with him, as a coach and a cheerleader! Cody will graduate soon and go on to college. Nancy inherited two more children in 2005. Lindy is now attending ETSU and Brennan is just getting started. Nancy believes children are our every day miracles and she is so very proud of all three -- just walk in her office and you can see by the vast array of pictures of all the kids all over her office!

Director of First Impressions -- Teresa is a native of Kingsport., Tn. Teresa joined Bingham & Hensley in January of 2006. She was previously employed with a local Savings & Loan and a local Credit Union. She is a 1975 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. Teresa and her husband, Jim live in Kingsport. Teresa has on son, Clint, as well as Jim's two sons, Stacy and Scott, and one daughter Katie.
Teresa enjoys the lake, the beach, and the mountains.

Sherry Bingham
Office Manager & Bookkeeper --Sherry received her degree from ETSU and worked for nine years as a claims adjuster for Scholastic Insurors, Inc. in Johnson City, TN. Prior to coming to Bingham & Hensley in 2001, she was the Office Assistant/Bookkeeper at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Day School. Sherry and her husband, Bob Bingham, Jr. have two sons, Rhett, a UT graduate employed in the Atlanta area, and Devin, a student at UT. Her husband is a history teacher and the head track & cross country coach at Dobyns-Bennett High School. She enjoys boating, art, and photography.
